シスメックスは、1月30日、早期乳癌の再発リスクに関する研究用の検査受託サービスを開始すると発表した。
今回開始するのは、研究用として、術後の乳癌組織を対象として、サイクリン依存性キナーゼ（CDK）の発現量と活性を測定して発現量に対する活性の程度について3段階に評価するもの。病院が検体をシスメックスに送付し、シスメックスは病院に結果を報告する。医師は、患者の病態などと併せて再発リスクを評価することになる。
この評価法については、266例を対象に後ろ向きに解析を行った結果について、国内学会で報告されており、5年間の無再発生存率は、Highで74％、Intermediateで84％、Lowで97％であることが示されている。
